Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know
The Broker - What It IsTabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker. The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a founder with no industry background.TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook. The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad. The SoftwareThey offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That should round things out once it is live.Accounts and PricingThree tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for people who want simple pricing.Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.Execution SpeedThis is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this. The FSRA QuestionThis is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment. What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.Deposit BonusTab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit. The complete breakdown, including the full check here fee table, withdrawal policies, and regulatory details, is at Trade The Day.
